Grilled Cheese with Caramelized Onions
Four slices of sourdough
Four sliced of your favourite vegan cheese
Contemporary figs, sliced
About 1 tbsp vegan mayonnaise (or vegan butter)
1 giant candy onion, thinly sliced
1 tbsp vegan butter
Pinch of salt
1 cup apple cider or juice
Sauté sliced onions with vegan butter and salt over low warmth for eight to 10 minutes. Add 1/2 a cup of liquid (cider or juice) to the pan, solely stirring often.
